A Wonderful Year at The Dance Co.
Dear Dance Co. Families,
As the year draws to a close, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on all that we’ve accomplished together and extend my thanks to you all.
Our recent concert was a truly magical event, and it was such a joy to see our dancers light up the stage. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and teamwork were evident in every performance. I was especially proud of how well they channelled their excitement, followed instructions, and displayed impeccable manners with their teachers and peers.
The buddy system was a highlight, with our older dancers looking after their 'tiny dancer' buddies with such kindness and encouragement. This initiative not only fostered connections but also exemplified the leadership and kindness of our older students. These moments showcase the supportive and nurturing community we’ve built together at The Dance Co.

Congratulations to all our dancers on an incredible year of achievements! Your hard work and success have been truly inspiring. Thank you to those who brought joy to local nursing homes through your beautiful performances, showcasing the impact we can make beyond the studio. In exams, not only did we see excellent results, but you also showed commitment to attendance, presentation and artistry on the day. Congratulations to everyone who competed in eisteddfods—you made us so proud with your teamwork and effort. A special mention to all our dancers who took place in the Cecchetti Medals Competition, Choreographic Competition and the Cecchetti Scholars Program.

End of year picnic
Many thanks to all our dancers who joined us for our picnic in Centennial Park. We loved seeing you all there catching up and debriefing on the concert was a real treat!
Nutcracker PJ Pizza Party
Thank you to all the dancers who attended this event—it was truly special to come together as a community and enjoy the Royal Ballet's 2018 production of The Nutcracker.
Australian Ballet Opera House Excursion
We’re So Excited for Our Opera House Excursion!
We are thrilled to soon be heading to the Opera House for this year’s Storytime Ballet, hosted by the Australian Ballet. This special performance of Sleeping Beauty will be an unforgettable experience for our Flower Fairies and Daisies dancers (ages 3-7).
If you haven’t booked yet, you’re still welcome to join! You can book tickets directly through the Opera House and meet us there for the performance.
