Dear Dance Co. Families,
As the year draws to a close, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on all that we’ve accomplished together and extend my heartfelt thanks to you all.
Our recent concert was a truly magical event, and it was such a joy to see our dancers light up the stage. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and teamwork were evident in every performance. I was especially proud of how well they channelled their excitement, followed instructions, and displayed impeccable manners with their teachers and peers.
The buddy system was a highlight, with our older dancers looking after their 'tiny dancer' buddies with such kindness and encouragement. This initiative not only fostered connections but also exemplified the leadership and kindness of our older students. These moments showcase the supportive and nurturing community we’ve built together at The Dance Co.
The year isn’t over just yet—there’s still so much to look forward to!

End-of-Year Picnic: Celebrate the season together with our studio community at Clontarf Reserve on Saturday, December 14th, between 10:00 am-12:00 pm

This year has been filled with incredible achievements, and I’d like to congratulate all our dancers on their hard work and success:
Community Outreach: A special thank you to the dancers who brought joy to local nursing homes through their beautiful performances. Your efforts are a shining example of the impact we can make beyond the studio.
Exams: Your dedication to technique and artistry truly shone through. We are proud that over 90% of our dancers received the top band in ballet exams this year.
Eisteddfods: A huge well done to everyone who competed—you made us proud!

Nutcracker PJ Pizza Party
We are excited to invite you to a special PJ Pizza Night at the studio. We'll be watching The Australian Ballet's Nutcracker with our ballet friends, offering a perfect way to spend quality time together!
Northern Beaches Campus:
Date: Saturday, November 30th
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Location: The Bupa Centre
Cost: $35.00 (includes pizza for all dancers)
Grades: Sunflowers and Roses (Grade 1 and above)
What to bring: A cozy pillow and blanket!
Australian Ballet Opera House Excursion
We’re So Excited for Our Opera House Excursion!
We are thrilled to soon be heading to the Opera House for this year’s Storytime Ballet, hosted by the Australian Ballet. This special performance of Sleeping Beauty will be an unforgettable experience for our Flower Fairies and Daisies dancers (ages 3-7).
We’re especially excited about travelling across Sydney Harbour on the Manly Ferry together and sharing the magic of this outing as a community.
If you haven’t booked yet, you’re still welcome to join! You can book tickets directly through the Opera House and meet us there for the performance.
